Great tribute! But 2 hrs, 45 min sleep average??! Oh, I want to hug you! And 7 teeth! Lyric only had the 1…but it looks like she’ll have 16 by her second bday.

Thanks Jessie. Yeah, it’s been a brutal year for sleep. I still don’t know many other one-year-olds that sleep like he does. It’s been a big lesson in control for me!

Remind me when you are due again? So excited to meet baby #2!

Thanks Emily, for being such a gracious sport with letting me emulate so much of your parent-related stuff (hospital, pediatrician, etc)! It’s so nice to have a trusted mom in the area who is ahead of the game with all these decisions and it has saved me a lot of trouble 🙂

Ha! It’s not too bad, actually. My husband helps a lot and brings him to me, he nurses, and most nights he goes right back down. That was only in the last month, though. Before 11 months it was honestly still every 1-3 hours most nights. He’s super high needs at night 🙁

Annnnd now I’m crying!!! When did these babies grow up to be such big boys? We are two months away and I’m already feeling so emotional.

What a touching tribute to a year of many firsts and emotions! You seriously have the patience of a saint, we still have rough nights, but I get frustrated by the end of the week. Thanks for sharing your life online, it’s been so fun to watch your G grow up into such a handsome redheaded little boy! He looks like he has so much spunk from all your photos and stories. You’ve been such a great resource and friend over the past year, thank you! I can’t wait to see what year two has in store for your family.

So so sweet! Happy Birthday G and congratulations to mommy and daddy. You all made it, and he’s doing so well. Hope this year is just as wonderful. I’ve really enjoyed reading about your journey as a mom this year!
