Easy Canvas Prints

by Lara on July 12, 2012

Part of my endeavor to organize our digital photos entails having some of my favorites printed to adorn our walls.  In my head, we’d have a canvas wall that looks something like this (originally seen on Pinterest, of course), so when I was approached by Easy Canvas Prints to try out their service, I was thrilled.

Photos to Canvas

I’m, uh, not creatively inclined, so it was important to me that the website walked me through the design process and made it easy to get a decent final product.  ‘Easy’ being the key word, which it was!  I chose my desired canvas size (since I eventually want a whole wall full of canvases, I opted for 8″x10″), and then got to decide if I wanted my canvases “wrapped” or framed.  The former sounded swanky, so I went for a 1.5″ wrap, which costs a little more, but I like “the gallery look,” as they describe it.  Then I uploaded my photo, and that was basically it.  Easy peasy.

There are many options to get artsy if you’re that type of person (check out this page to see what I mean), including color effects, retouching features, etc.  Like I said, I wanted to keep mine simple:

The canvases shipped fast, and the quality is pretty darn good considering the prices.  I’ve been trolling their website to see about adding more to my collection, and they always seem to be having specials and deals going on (right now it looks like they’re offering 25% off all canvases and free shipping!).  I’ve looked into canvas prints before from professional photographers and they are really pricey, so this is a great option for cost-conscious people like myself.

Though I received both of these canvases for no charge in exchange for an honest review of the company and their products, I definitely intend on buying more canvases to eventually make a full wall.

Overall, I’d tell anyone looking for some prints to check out Easy Canvas Prints.  They’re affordable, easy, and fast, which are the qualities I need when I’m working on any sort of project.

Disclaimer:  Though these products were provided to me by Easy Canvas Prints in exchange for an honest review, all opinions are my own.  I promise, I’d tell you guys if I thought they were total crap.

What a nice idea! I have a million pics I need to do something with. And walls to fill. Thanks!

Ha, I love your disclaimer! I, too, have a huge box of unorganized photos that totally stresses me out. It’s grown exponentially since having Julian… this would be a fun and frame-less way of displaying some of my favorites!

When you have that baby, you will NOT believe how many photos you will take. My baby is 2 now and I’m so far behind on cataloging and organizing them. Thanks for the recommendation. I’m definitely going to check them out. I love the canvas look.
