Congratulations!!! Does it feel more real now that you know the gender?
I feel like my pregnancy still doesn’t feel real, maybe because I’m still pretty early, but I can’t wait to stop calling baby K “baby” or “it” although my husband swears it’s a girl so he calls it by the girl name we’ve picked out. I hope we don’t have a boy for the single fact that we cannot agree on a boy name so he would be nameless for awhile.
Stacy: Yes! It is SO nice to be able to call him “he,” and get more serious about names. I just feel one step closer to knowing him fully, you know?
My husband was SURE we were having a girl too, so you never know! Luckily we like far fewer boy names than girl names, so it shouldn’t be too hard to agree.
Congrats!!! I was just looking back at your gender predictor post and it’s so interesting that you had more girl than boy! I really wish we had found out the sex of our baby but I guess we’ll find out in 14 or so weeks!
Thanks Lindsay! It is interesting, however, in the comments section you might remember the conversation about me doing it wrong. The Chinese count your years of life, which is different than the way we count. So if I put in 27 instead of 26, it says boy! 🙂
Hi Lara!! I always read your blog but have rarely commented (yeah one of those silent “shy” readers :P) but I just had to in this one!!! Yay it’s a boy baby 😀 Congratulations!
I used to have a blog about my body. Now I just have a blog about me: thoughts I think, things I like, people I love. Welcome to the world according to Lara!

I was talking about this post that you did: http://accordingtolara.com/2012/02/top-10-is-baby-a-boy-or-a-girl/ where there were more girl predictions than boy
AH yes the post in general had more girls than boys. But the Chinese one was right in the end, which I thought was interesting!
Awwh 🙂 So exciting L and M! Love ya’ll!
yippee!! I loved that last line.
Bet the whole fam is excited!!
I remember when we found out that we were having a girl, the first thing we did was go out and buy her an outfit. I could not wait!
Cute story! Matt had to rush off to work afterward so we haven’t done any shopping yet 🙁 But definitely this weekend!

Hehe. I thought so in the beginning but toward the end I let myself be swayed by everyone else’s opinion. Lesson learned!
